My new car!
Yep, it was time to dump the Focus. After 4 years (and some really badass road trips!) we had to go our separate ways. I told the Focus that the reason that we wernt working out was more because of me and not her and that we can still be friends (we’ll see where that goes….)
Anyway, after 4 years satisfied with Ford Motor Co. I decide to keep it all in the family. I upgraded to a 2008 Ford Escape XLT! So far so good: it gets great gas mileage, sits up nice and high, room to tow and carry my whole life and has lots of cool in dash audio features (of course, first things first: I’ve already dropped a pretty penny in premium audio upgrades!)
here she is…this is yesterday out at Red Rock Canyon.

UPDATE: (6/4/08)
You know that premium audio I was talking about..?? Well, here it is!
-Two matching pair of Pioneer 6”X8” four-way @ 260W peak
-One Pioneer 12” component subwoofer @ 800W peak
-One Pioneer 400W bridgeable four-channel amp (80WX4)
-One Pioneer 800W mono power amp (800W max)
-One 12” Q-Logic sealed enclosure
All I’m missing is a dual amp power kit and about $500 of professional installation…
From Led Zep to Ludacris, from Supertramp to Snoop Dogg music will sound “oh so nice…”

It’ll all make a nice compliment to my 6 disk in-dash w/ Sirius and iPod ready face and 12 disk Mp3 CD changer.
I know it may seem a bit over the top, but it’s in my blood…
